The Bigs

Although I am a Red Sox fan through and through, baseball is just too good of a game to only focus on one team. What I would like to do with this blog is give more of a conversational feel to my entries. For instance, I have really been mesmerized by all the raw talent young players bring to the game these past few years. Players like Mike Trout, Bryce Harper and Jose Fernandez bring a whole new vibe to the sport. Even players like Manny Machado and Jurickson Profar are exciting to watch, knowing they could break away from the pack of up-and-coming young bucks at any time and show the world their true talent.
     I wish I had time to keep an eye on every player of every team to see who the next big name in the game is, but as you all know, unless you can find a way to get paid to watch baseball, it's a bit tough. What I want from this entry is to hear from anyone interested in a bit of healthy baseball debate. Who do you think is the diamond in the rough this year? Who has all the tools to fool the experts and make a name for himself? Who is the Yasiel Puig of 2014? Spring Training is back and it's been a long, cold winter folks.
